Where It Started

Muay Thai has been part of my life for more than 17 years. What began as a sport became my path, my profession and, eventually, the foundation of the person I am today.

I was born and raised in Munich with Turkish roots. I did not grow up knowing that I would become a professional fighter, live on the other side of the world or one day coach thousands of people. But once I discovered Muay Thai, I felt something I could no longer ignore.

It gave me direction.

At some point, following that direction meant making a decision that many people around me could not understand. I left the security of a normal job behind and committed myself completely to a life in martial arts.

There was no guarantee that it would work. No perfect plan. No safe path. Only the belief that I would rather take the risk of pursuing something meaningful than spend my life wondering what could have happened.

That decision took me far beyond anything I had imagined.

02Melbourne

Leaving Comfort Behind

In my early twenties, I moved to Melbourne, Australia. I arrived in a new country, far away from my family, my familiar surroundings and everything that had previously made life comfortable.

I had to build a new life, prove myself as a fighter and take responsibility as a coach. I became the Muay Thai Head Coach at Absolute MMA, one of Australia’s leading martial arts gyms.

For three and a half years, I lived between coaching and competing. I helped other athletes develop while continuing to chase my own ambitions inside the ring.

That period taught me one of the most important lessons of my life:

Leadership is not about standing above people. It is about showing up for them, especially when you are carrying your own pressure at the same time.

Australia made me more independent. Coaching made me more responsible. Fighting continued to test how much I truly wanted this life.

But the journey was only beginning.

03Bangkok

From Melbourne to Bangkok

During a training camp in Bangkok, an opportunity appeared that would change the direction of my career. I was invited to train at the YOKKAO Training Center. What was originally supposed to be a short stay became the beginning of an entirely new chapter.

After seeing me train and fight, YOKKAO offered me the opportunity to join the team as a fully sponsored professional fighter. Accepting that offer meant giving up the position and life I had built in Melbourne. Once again, I chose growth over comfort.

I moved into the YOKKAO Gym in Bangkok and became the first foreign fighter to live and train there full-time. My daily life revolved around Muay Thai.

Training. Eating. Recovering. Fighting. Repeating.

I trained alongside some of the greatest athletes in the sport, including Saenchai, Singdam Kiatmoo9, Manachai and many other world-class Thai fighters and coaches. Being surrounded by greatness was inspiring, but it was also humbling.

There was nowhere to hide. Every weakness was exposed. Every excuse disappeared. Respect was not given because of where you came from or what you had already achieved. It had to be earned every day through discipline, consistency and performance.

04The Ring

Tested on the World Stage

Over the years, I competed in more than 60 fights across Germany, Australia, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Cambodia. I fought at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium and appeared on major international events including MX Muay Xtreme, Max Muay Thai, Thai Fight and YOKKAO.

Some of those fights were broadcast nationwide. Some brought victories and recognition. Others brought injuries, setbacks and difficult questions.

I experienced moments that once seemed impossible: walking into famous stadiums, representing internationally respected gyms and sharing the stage with elite fighters.

But the real story was never only about the lights, the crowds or the victories. It was also about the days when nobody was watching.

The exhausting training camps. The weight cuts. The injuries. The losses. The uncertainty. The moments when confidence disappeared and discipline had to take its place.

Fighting does not make you fearless. It teaches you to move despite fear. It does not make you unbeatable. It teaches you how to stand back up after being beaten.

The ring has a way of revealing who you really are. You cannot pretend inside it. Under pressure, your preparation, your character and your decisions become visible.

That honesty changed me.

05Coming Home

From Fighter to Coach and Leader

After years abroad, I returned home to Munich. I brought back much more than techniques, combinations and fight experience.

Today in Germany: coach, leader, founder of IRON SPIRIT.
Today in Germany: coach, leader, founder of IRON SPIRIT.

I brought with me lessons from different cultures, world-class gyms, legendary fighters and years of living outside my comfort zone.

Since returning to Germany, I have continued working as a professional coach and leader, teaching beginners, children, ambitious athletes and professional fighters.

My role has changed over time. I still carry the mentality of a fighter, but today my greatest responsibility is helping other people grow.

A good coach does more than hold pads or explain techniques. A good coach sees potential before the student can see it. He creates standards, gives honest feedback and knows when to push, when to guide and when to listen.

My goal is not to create copies of myself. My goal is to help people discover what they are capable of becoming.

06Knowledge

Sharing the Knowledge

My journey has connected me with people around the world. Through Instagram, YouTube, seminars and online content, I share the knowledge and experience I collected throughout my career.

I do not want to show only the highlight moments. Social media often presents success without the years of sacrifice behind it. I want people to understand the complete process: the discipline, the repetition, the mistakes, the setbacks and the patience required to truly improve.

Whether someone wants to compete, become fitter, gain confidence or simply learn authentic Muay Thai, my mission remains the same: to make high-level training understandable, structured and accessible.

The Next Chapter: IRON SPIRIT

Everything I have experienced is now leading into the next chapter of my journey.

IRON SPIRIT is more than the name of a gym. It represents the belief that strength is built, not given.

Strength is built.

It is built through difficult sessions, uncomfortable decisions, honest feedback and the willingness to return even after a bad day.

IRON SPIRIT will bring together professional Muay Thai, boxing, functional fitness and structured programs for children, teenagers and adults. It will be a place for complete beginners as well as experienced athletes. A place where people train seriously without ego. A place where discipline and community support each other.

The philosophy is simple:

Train. Grow. Community.

Train with purpose. Grow physically and mentally. Become part of a community that expects more from you and supports you while you work for it.

08Today

The Legacy I Choose

I once chose an uncertain path because something inside me refused to accept a life without purpose.

That path took me around the world. It gave me victories, losses, friendships, scars, opportunities and lessons that no comfortable life could have taught me.

Muay Thai gave me discipline when motivation disappeared. It gave me humility when success could have changed me. It gave me courage when the next step was uncertain. And it gave me a responsibility to pass those lessons forward.

My journey is no longer only about how far I can go as a fighter. It is about how many people I can help move forward as a coach, a leader and an example.

I chose legacy over comfort. And I am still building it.
